Segezha Group is a vertically integrated international pulp and paper holding that combines the logging and wood processing assets of Sistema since September 2014. The Group includes four main subdivisions: Wood Resources, Wood Processing, Paper and Packaging, Plywood and Wood Boards.
The Group consists of over 50 enterprises in Russia and other countries, with a headcount of 9,400 employees.
The Group's share in the European market of paper packaging is 15%, and 46% in the Russian market. The holding ranks №2 in Europe by volume of brown sack paper output, and №3 in the world by total output of sack paper. It accounts for 12% of Russia’s wooden house-building market, and 9% of laminated beams and wood structures. Segezha Group is the largest forest user in the European part of Russia, with the total area of leased forest of 5.5 mln ha, including FSC-certified resources of 5.2 mln ha (94%).
